I gladly paid the $3 for tweetie 1.0, after trying it cracked for 5 minutes (and no i don't have any cracked apps anymore). I gladly paid $3 again when 2.0 came out, and will yet again if 3.0 is also paid, because I have a job and can afford nice things, like a $3 app, and an iPhone.

You can just move them. By default they're installed to the Applications folder. Hopefully in future updates, App Store will allow the option where to install apps.

Dude... if you're dropping 90% of your calls on the iPhone 3G then you should have talked to AT&T. They would have given you a personal cell tower to fix your signal issue. Your iPhone has nothing to do with your poor signal strength.
The reason I drop so many calls is that most of my phone calls are made on the drive home from work and AT&T has several dead zones along that drive. It's not like I'm out in the boonies, either. I'm never more than a couple of miles away from an interstate.
The thing that pisses me off more than anything is the fact that I'll look at the phone immediately after dropping the call and see 3-4 bars of 3G signal. I think AT&T's towers are just overloaded or poor quality. I'm well aware that it isn't the phone's fault, which is why I want to switch to Verizon. But I refuse to pay to switch to a new carrier just to get a phone that is 10 months old and has a well-known problem with its antenna. Not to mention the fact that almost every other manufacturer will have a 4G compatible phone by the time Apple gets around to producing one.
I don't want to lock in a 2 year contract on already obsolete technology.

Right??? What does Microsoft have to do with Apple then? Did it become successful, then nearly go bankrupt, then become successful on the return of Mr Gates again? Mr Gates is now doing a damn site better work then ANYONE at Apple ever has, FACT! Unless you think charity is a waste of time? But as I never mentioned Microsoft, what's your point? I have the Lion beta installed, and it's by far their best release yet. Goodluck with the alienware.

It would help matters if you can't be bothered to respond with anything useful. Everyone likes to try new things. 22 years is a long time. Most of us would like to drop what we're doing and try something new. Unfortunately, unlike Bertrand, most of us don't have the money to do it.
Yeah, drop what your experienced in, what you have done for 22 years!! Leave a massively successful company... Shame you couldn't be bothered to offer the reason he left like the guy I quoted above, instead you just gave the usual fanboy response to someone who dared to say a bad word about Apple :rolleyes:

Yeah, wow, a laptop, I'm so glad you 'Assumed' I would want a laptop! I was actually thinking of a desktop that is expandable, performs far better then any iMac, costs a lot less then a Mac Pro..... And Windows 7 is pretty damn good and flash works on it...

I loved the keynote. Steve's excitement was palpable - he really believes this is the next big thing. Let's give him a little credit here.
I would be willing to bet the next month will be announcement after announcement of upgrades and updates.

Although this is pretty cool, being a Web Designer, I'll never see myself using this, manipulating with a finger is difficult, especially when it comes to creating web interfaces & getting accuracy, because you have to remember we are working with pixels, there is no way u can get the accuracy of a mouse through any tablet..
Apart from that, even for professional photographers or those who do illustration I don't think they could make any real use out of this, at least not at this stage, we are use to using either keyboard (shortcuts) + mouse, or a wacom..

Soooo tomorrow is the day. Finally, months after watching those damn east coasters get a taste of PAX, it's back home on the best coast. Huzzah!

I know this is late, but I just bought season 2 of chuck and pleasantly surprised to find it in HD, and the file size seems to be the same as the SD format of season 1.

Well, it would have been nice but my company (delivers packages, owns Memphis) switched to Exchange about a year ago, mostly because Notes was too damned expensive. Oh well.

Which is kind of hard on such a restricted and limited platform. There would be more useful software for the iPad if it ran a 'real' operating system like Mac OS X -- meaning full file system access and not being tied into ONE App Store with arbitrary rules for what a program is allowed to do.
