What reason can I write for "Description of your case problem"?
Can I just mention that I am about to incur significant and unusual costs because of this delay?
I just wanted to give a try and see if this trigger my case. Please advice.

Do not think anything wrong in voting. Atleast so many IV members are again active due to this voting. No harm...
It is not about "Is voting on OpenCongress right or wrong?".
If we had enormous resources (both money and human) I would not have cared people voting on this. We EB based GC seekers are a small group of people. On the top of that a very few of us actually do something that can alleviate our GC situation.
If people efforts are going to be diverted on actions like this, we may loose some of them when IV action comes in.

If you had the opportunity of getting a Substitute labor and potentially get your GC sooner rather than later, wouldn't you grab it with both hands. It is the GC Freedom.
I am also thankful that DOL and USCIS have banned Labor Substitutions but please give those who have used them a break. They are also in the same boat as you and me (people with regular labor). Chasing the American Dream. No offense intended.:o

This guy with absolutely clean record was held for 11 weeks for verification and lost his father in this process..
I have been trying for last 8 weeks non-stop in front of computer and I am not able to even see any open appointment...
WE REALLY NEED TO RAISE HELL ON THIS...
SENDING LETTERS TO CLINTON or may be IV rep team to meet her on this issue...
A lot of guys are stuck and have suffered for no reason...
Can you bring your friend here. If we can add stories from people who suffered, it would add more value.

removal of ROW spill-over must be in anticipation of the dam burst expected when the BECS finally cross pass the april 30 PDs ( ROW being a big majority of these applications).
We need to look at what the BECs are doing and where they are wrt apr 2001 apps. I believe they are almost past it or in the thick of it. there would be a 3-4 month lag since a lot of these guys are going through recruitment.
That will tell us whether we are seeing the worst or if it can get worse.

Try to contact FOX, CNN, ABC etc.. that will be helpfull.
It is for all those people (the indian diaspora) who do log on to the online versions of their hometown newspapers to check local Indian news, it might be a pleasant surprise to see the news abt the rally out there!!!

Thanks for the AC21 letter format. What do u mean 6yrs - minus remaining time? So, lets say, I'm in the 5th yr of my H1B. So the remaining time is obviously 1 year. My 485 is pending. So, will I get an extension of 6-1 = 5 yrs of H1 extension???:o If so...that wud be gr8. Pls emphasise on what u mean by that calculation.

I think, it is a combination of three things.
1. Laziness
2. No Accountability
2. Bad intentions ...as you mentioned
In my job, I am a software trainer. I teach hundreds of people. I will be accountable (and asked questions) if I delay my work even by one day. There are tight deadlines for everything. (Yes, 5 minute job of renewing EAD will not be 90 days ...it will be 5 minutes only) Even if one customer just soft complains about anything, I will be held accountable and my job will be in jeopardy. There is no such thing in USCIS.
BTW: I hate when they say 90 days and then exclude the RFE time and the mail accepting time.(They count from the date of receipt and not the date of receiving the mail). On the top of it, the receipt date can be any time they want and not the date of receiving the date. It can become 120 days and when they say "days", it is like one of those commercials which says, " for only 1$ a day ...." instead of saying $365 which they charge for the whole year . subscription.
Same way instead of saying 3 to 5 months , they say 90 days (so that it does not seem long). they should say , "EAD RENEWAL ONLY TAKES 129600 MINUTES". ..and then in the small print, light gray color at a hidden spot in the bottom, in tons of lines of text, say, "does not include RFE, holidays, Mail transit time, and time before we accept it"

what my friend was told...if you have given proper notice to quit...your employer has no legal standpoint to harras you.
dont worry abt that desi employer..that bum is in bigger soup than you are...the law that requires all employers to provide W2 before jan 31..no matter what..check with IRS if you want....he is toast! .;-)
take it easy.. you will be all right!

I called USCIS NSC yesterday and asked if my new approved I-140 was interfiled with my pending I-485. The IO asked me for my A# and then told me that she doesn't see the new I-140 starting with SRC on the system. She only sees the original I-140 with the LIN. It was very frustrating to hear this as I had called NSC a week before and the IO told me that the new I-140 is in the system and visa was available for me. However, I remembered that last week the IO did not ask me for my A#. She only asked for the receipt numbers of my pending I-485 and the new I-140.
Friends, what else can I do to make sure that my newly approved I-140 under EB2 is interfiled?
Speaking from my case, I called NSC for the same reason multiple times and every time the information I got (now looking back) was either useless or insignificant. Only one procedural info I got once was correct. They informed me that when you Interfile, your request goes into your file and no receipt or any other update is done to your case. When your 485 app RD becomes current and an IO picks up the case to work on it, should consider the Interfiling request. If your PD is then current due to the Interfiling request and every other detail on your 485 app is complete, your case is approved immediately. That is exactly what happened to my case. Calling them is less fruitful and more frustation. I only called them once a month after they changed their processing dates for the month just in the hope I may get lucky with an IIO who may give some info. Never did. I also took an Infopass, but that was fruitless too, as they also could not provide any information. Just asked me to wait until my RD becomes current.
Hope this gives you some perspective and lowers your anxiety.
